MTS helps organizations develop their people and strengthen their education programs through expert facilitation and strategic advisory — grounded in 15+ years of real program leadership and a doctorate in education.
Most organizations invest in programs before they invest in people. The most effective ones do both — and know the difference. That's where MTS comes in.
Who We Serve
We work with universities, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations that understand people are the program. Our deepest expertise is in military-connected populations — but the work translates wherever nontraditional learners and developing leaders show up.
Whether you need a facilitator for a leadership cohort, a professional development session for staff, or an outside perspective on how your education programs are structured — MTS brings academic credibility and real program experience to the table.
Facilitation · Program Advisory · Staff DevelopmentYou're doing important work with limited resources. MTS helps you develop your people and think more clearly about your programs — without overcomplicating either one.
Team Facilitation · Program Advisory · Leadership DevelopmentThis is where MTS has the deepest roots. If you serve military-connected learners or employ veteran staff, we understand your population, your culture, and your challenges in ways most consultants simply don't.
Facilitation · Education Program Advisory · Staff TrainingWhat We Offer
MTS doesn't try to do everything. We do two things with depth, intention, and real expertise — and we do them well.
Engaging, research-grounded sessions that help teams and individuals understand how they communicate, lead, and relate — and how to do it better. Rooted in the framework of relational intelligence, these sessions go beyond information to create real shifts in how people work together.
The signature offering — Every Word Tells a Story — explores how perception shapes interpretation and how the language we use affects identity, communication, and performance. Available as a keynote, workshop, or team session.
Delivered as keynote sessions, half-day workshops, or team training. Remote and on-site options available.
Strategic advisory for organizations working to strengthen how they structure, deliver, and support their education and training programs. We bring an informed outside perspective — grounded in 15+ years of hands-on program leadership — to help you think more clearly about what's working and what needs to change.
Particularly well suited for universities, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations serving nontraditional learners, including military-connected populations.
Available as focused advisory conversations, short-term engagements, or ongoing advisory relationships. Flexible to your schedule and needs.
Why MTS
MTS stands for Mindful Transformation Strategies — because lasting change in organizations and people doesn't happen by accident. It happens with intention, clarity, and the right support. Dr. Markeisha Robinson built her expertise inside the systems her clients are trying to improve. That's not a consulting pitch — it's 15 years of lived experience.
15+ years leading onboarding, professional development, academic advising, voluntary education, and workforce readiness programs inside U.S. military education systems. Not studied from the outside — operated from within.
Dr. Robinson's doctoral capstone examined degree attainment among military members — surfacing the barriers, beliefs, and perspectives that shape how this population engages with education. That research informs every advisory engagement.
Systems don't fail in isolation. They fail at the intersection of people, communication, and structure. Every facilitation session and advisory engagement is grounded in the understanding that how people relate to each other determines how well everything else works.
MTS offers two focused services done with depth and intention. We don't try to be everything to everyone — we show up fully for the work we're actually qualified to do.
"Lasting change in organizations and people doesn't happen by accident. It happens with intention, clarity, and the right support."

How It Works
A 30-minute conversation to understand your organization, your people, and what you're trying to change. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about fit.
We define the engagement together — what's being delivered, when, in what format, and at what investment. Everything agreed upfront so there are no surprises.
For facilitation: an engaging, research-grounded session delivered to your team or audience. For advisory: focused strategic conversations that help your organization think more clearly about its programs and people.
Every engagement ends with clear takeaways — what shifted, what was learned, and what comes next. The goal is always lasting impact, not a one-time event.
Whether you need a facilitator for your team, an outside perspective on your education programs, or you're just not sure where to start — let's talk. A discovery call costs nothing and clarifies everything.
